Overview
- The course is supplemented by two workshops (2 CFU). Attendance is MANDATORY before the exam. The information about the workshop is available on the dolly.
- Knowledge of the main theoretical and methodological constructs of the discipline.
- Knowledge of the basic concepts, the procedural elements and critical issues of the theory and practice of educational planning;
- Knowledge of the basic elements of education for skills.
Admission requirements
Fundamental knowledge related to the fundamentals of General and Social Pedagogy and School History. In particular, students should be familiarized, in its basic elements, with the historical and legislative outline, issues and problems of a pedagogical nature of contemporary Italian schooling (preschool and primary).
Course contents
- Teaching in the perspective of reflexivity.
- The teaching mediation.
- The dimensions of analysis of teaching: organizational, methodological and relational.
- The methodological principles of planning.
- The design approach in kindergarten
- Designing and evaluating for skills

Assessment methods
During the course of teaching and pedagogical-didactic workshops, through multiple modes and constantly, formative evaluation will be carried out aimed at monitoring and improving in terms of effectiveness the teaching-learning process. In normal (not emergency) conditions, assessment is carried out through a 60-minute written test. Each question is scored in 30ths. The final outcome results from the average of the ratings of each answer. This outcome will be made known to the individual student through the esse3 channel within 14 days of the test. Students will have the option of accepting or rejecting the assigned grade. Students with resolution who need to supplement the exam for 2, 3 0 4 CFUs will take a written exam related to the assigned texts.

Knowledge and understanding
Through lectures and discussions learns specific theoretical and methodological knowledge about teaching and school planning.
Applying knowledge and understanding
By conducting two workshops specifically dedicated applies the basic principles of school planning and learns to analyze the quality of the educational relationship in kindergarten.
Making judgments
Through the examination and discussion of the products produced and videos projected in laboratories learns to reflect on the characteristics of educational contexts and to evaluate the appropriateness of the choices made.
Communication skills
The brainstorms in the classroom, the discussions during the workshops and the final examination allow you to express the concepts learned and to learn to communicate information related to educational and teaching situations. The analysis and discussion of the video in the laboratory allows to develop knowledge in the management of the educational relationship in kindergarten.
Learning skills
The activities described allow you to reflect on the professional skills and to identify appropriate sources to deepen knowledge.
