Overview

The course aims to address the main issues of sustainability and environmental law. The course includes 48 hours of teaching (lectures and exercises). On the other hand, the commitment of individual study to pass the exam can be presumably quantified in 108 hours. The student must therefore consider approximately a total commitment of 150 hours to be necessary.

The course deals with some of the main aspects of Environmental Law and in particular: legislation on waste management, concepts of economic and environmental sustainability, voluntary certifications ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 standards, sustainable development, circular economy.ARERA: historical background and expertise in the environmental and energy fields.
The issue of the contract and its essential elements will also be addressed, as well as a preliminary analysis of Legislative Decree 231/01 with practical cases and analysis of judgments.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge and understanding: through classroom lessons and numerous collegial discussions, students learn the legal logic of sustainability and environmental law for the understanding of the various issues related to the circular economy and in particular to the business economy. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: through classroom exercises and collegial discussions, the understanding of the subject is facilitated and, consequently, the correct resolution of cases is encouraged presented during the examination. Making judgements: through collegial discussions, errors made in answering the questions proposed are understood and the formulation of a correct legal answer is improved. Communication skills: collegial discussions allow you to develop the ability to present a legal response that is correct in form and substance. Learning skills: the activities described, in particular the collegial discussions, allow you to acquire the methodological tools essential to be able to autonomously face the preparation of the exam with maximum profit.
