Overview
The course aims to define the typical management procedures of the HSE or RSPP manager. The application schemes, the risk assessment, the application models of the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems envisaged by Legislative Decree 231/2001 will be studied. The orientation of the course is to transmit the professional practice of the company security engineer.
Admission requirements
The reference prerequisites refer to the contents of the courses carried out in high schools in relation to the preparation for company internship activities, composed of two general and specific training modules.
Course contents
The course is structured on three specific modules of particular interest for the professional figure involved in the typical functions of industrial process management.
The first module will analyze all the main regulations updated to the national legislation following the integration of the regulatory framework containing the amendments to the Consolidated Law on Safety of 2021 and to the fire safety management regulations of 2022.
Safety applied to work environments and application standards for the management of worker safety: risk assessment, SGE emergency management systems, corporate responsibility system, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 safety management system. fire prevention systems. Biohazard analysis in light of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
The main risks and technological solutions currently used in the design processes will also be discussed.
It will also deal with safety applied to production, i.e. the application of CE standards in the construction of machinery for industry 4.0: the application process for the assessment of RES risks in industrial machines and robotics, machine requalification systems and assessment. Systems analysis required by the reference standards (EN 60204)
The duration of the module is 20 hours and the corresponding credits are worth 2 points.
The second module deals with safety applied to maintenance, works and maintenance plans envisaged for plants, machines and structures: reference standards (ISO 12100: 2010), list of the main plants and machines with maintenance obligation.
The module will last 17 hours and an activity will be proposed to develop a maintenance plan for an industrial plant with the economic enhancement of the works, and the corresponding credits are worth 2 points.
The last module will last 17 hours and will be particularly oriented to laboratory, explanatory and application activities of real cases: practical exercises will be proposed for the assessment of application risk, simulation of an EnMS for highly automated industrial environments and standard application of an ISO 45001 SGSL with industrial procedures: the corresponding credits are worth 2 points.
Teaching methods
The course will be developed with three specific methodologies: lectures, seminars and conferences and practical exercises. Attendance will be main in presence, in the classroom for frontal lessons and in the laboratory for exercises. The course will mainly be delivered in Italian, while the part of the ISO 45001 standard will be treated in English, using the texts in the original language. For specific individual work plans and for assistance, interviews can also be evaluated in FAD mode (training with the use of remote computer supports). The lectures developed through the use of a parallel of material used (slides) in the classroom and material prepared for the preparation of students at home. Two collective moments will be organized with the participation of industrial stakeholders on the issues of certification and assessment of particular risks such as correlated stress. The exercises will be developed using company procedures such as the technical-economic formulation of a training plan, the application of a simplified SGSL system and an emergency plan of an industrial complex: the exercise activities will be carried out in groups with the support of an assistant. to the teacher.
Assessment methods
The learning test will be structured in parallel with the exercises: each exercise will be assessed with an educational methodology but not an obstacle to accessing the oral exam at the end of the course. An exam evaluation grid will be provided, already made available to the student and a set of 100 questions from which those asked during the exam will be extracted.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course and after passing the exam, the student will have achieved the following learning outcomes
1) Knowledge of current workplace safety legislation, from European standards to national application
2) Knowledge and design skills of a corporate training plan linked to the law both in terms of content and business costs
3) Knowledge and design skills of a risk assessment in the workplace applied to the various company typologies, both as DVR and DUVRI.
4) Ability to develop a fire risk assessment and the design choice of fire protection and prevention devices and systems
5) Ability to design an emergency and evacuation plan in relation to the various types of work environments, both in relation to electrical risks and in relation to pandemic risks
6) Knowledge of SGSL systems linked to company MOGs provided for by Legislative Decree 231/01, with knowledge of the analysis of the application
