Overview

The purpose of the placement of the first year of the course is to facilitate the student's acquisition of knowledge, skills and ability to apply knowledge and skills in relationships, communication, self-learning skills and professional techniques. In particular, the training is targeted to the orientation of the student in the professional field, the acquisition of the skills of observation and analysis of activity be experienced by children and adults, in ecological and rehabilitation contexts, and the acquisition of basic technical skills for the prevention of damage from immobilization and for the development of autonomy of the individual.

Course contents

Internship in kindergartens
Internship in the center for the severely disabled
Internship in residential centers for the elderly
Traineeships in cooperatives taking in patients with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities

Teaching methods

The internship provides the coaching of the student to a professional expert in order to learn the skills required by the professional role, any preparatory tutoring / conclusive that prepare the student experience

Assessment methods

For the Assessment are used specific documents compiled for each internship experience: -diario daily acts signed by the professional guide -questionario evaluation of student trainees -Card student assessment and verification of achievement of the objectives that the guide should be delivered to the student at the end of the internship

Learning outcomes

The first experience of training is aimed orientation of the student to professional fields and the acquisition of basic skills such as:
- Observation of the relationship health professional / patient / family / operators of the team
-analysis of the healthy person
-analysis of psychomotor development of the child
-positioning and handling of the patient to prevent bedsores
