Kinesiology internship in a professional environment.
The internship is carried out in structures approved for this purpose, in the public and private sector.

Teaching methods

For each internship period, a training project is prepared with an attached internship learning contract, which contains the learning objectives attributable to one or more Dublin descriptors, based on the type of experience, the year of the course and the learning needs. of the student. The teaching methodology of the tutoring will be experiential, managed in small groups and the active involvement of the student will be required. In the internship training course of the 1st year of the course, all students will have to demonstrate skills attributable to all the Dublin descriptors. A formative evaluation occurs through initial self-evaluation and ongoing self-evaluation for each objective included in the learning contract. The student is asked to request feedback from his clinical tutor regarding the intermediate self-assessment carried out.

Assessment methods

The summative evaluation of each internship period takes place in the clinic, through observation of the student's work: each objective is evaluated according to a 4-point Likert scale. The global formative evaluation of each internship period is expressed in qualitative terms and is given by the transposition of the values extracted from the Likert scale onto a scale out of thirty. Furthermore, the written documents that attest to the learning that have taken place contribute to the evaluation. There is also an annual practical training exam, preparatory to moving on to the following year. In this exam students must demonstrate: a) knowledge and understanding of the theoretical principles underlying professional knowledge; b) the ability to apply knowledge and understanding to a simulated clinical situation; c) relational skills c) learning ability The final grade of the first year internship course takes into account all the evaluations received during the course
