Overview

To make students aware of the epistemological foundations of the disciplines composing the class, considering their future job at the light of human sciences
To reconstruct the framework of the professional tasks of the their future job in a flexible perspective

Admission requirements

A general knowledge of pedagogical, anthropological, sociological and psychological issues, acquired in the high school or by informal education, will help students in order to focus the contents of the class.
Personal experiences could help in giving examples in interaction with the theoretical contents of the disciplines composing the class.

Course contents

Cultural Anthropology (only for F, L and TRP - 2 CFU)
Methods, foundational concepts, care-giving problems in an anthropological point of view

General Psychology (for all - 1 CFU)
psychology as a science, brain and behaviour, cognitive processes, self- consciousness, learning and memory

General and Social Pedagogy (for all - 1 CFU)
Education as relationship and communication, educational agencies, time in education, education and medical contexts

Educational Psychology (for all - 2 CFU)
Motorial development; Emotional development; Bonds of attachement during the course of life; Cognitive development; Language and Communication development; Theory of Mind; Moral and social development

Experimental Pedagogy (1 credit for F, 2 credit for TO)
Self-evalution of professional competencies for self-learning, communication and relationship, learning and self-learning

Motorial Developemnt of the Healthy Child (only for F - 1 CFU)
Topics about the motorial development of child: models, concepts of need and function, design of functions, functions for survival, functiond for the relational life, discovering the world: variety of lateral shifts and development of verticality and walking, discovering the object: development of manipulation and the organizers of visual function, playing as integration of different functions.

General Psychology 2 (only for L - 1 CFU)
Foundations of developmental psychology from 0 to 6 years; analysis of memory, attention, language.

Clinical Psychology (only for TO and TRP - 1 CFU)
Psychic Thrauma; grief, mechanisms of defense

Teaching methods

Contents will be delivered in Italian language by means of lectures, but interactive with the students. Some group works could be done. Some homeworks could be assigned, in order to discuss them in the next class. According to the epidemiological situation of COVID-19, theoretical lessons can be performed with telematics synchronously lessons (streaming) and telematics asynchronous lessons (recorded).

Assessment methods

All the subject matters are assessed through a written exam: a test woth opmne-answer questions. The number of question in in proportion with the consistency of the subject matters (one question per credit). The final grade will be the average of all the grades. According to the epidemiological situation of COVID-19, the exams can be performed in presence or in remotely.

Learning outcomes

1. To know the psychological characteristics of people needing care and the modes of relationships in a medical and healthcare-oriented environment
2. To apply solutions, in term of relationship, in the different contexts of caring
3. To judge critically the contents and their application in the contexts of caring
4. To communicate effectively in Italian, both written and oral, using the scientific terms in order to define psychopedagogical problems
5. To demonstrate to be able to revise one`s knowledge at the light of the new informations learnt during the class
